Teacher-Researcher

I've only kept a journal of my classes when I was working on my GT Certification and it was required for an assignment. I don't know why I didn't keep up with it.

In class today we talked about making connections, reaching out to our students, and Ms. Mohr did just this. She became a student of her students and made observations that she was able to use to improve her teaching. The students let her know what their needs were, and she listened to them. How important it is for us to listen to our students! Writing down their ideas and our obervations is a great way to keep our learning going.

Journaling will return to my classroom on August 27th.

PS for Powerpoint--The music is in!
