Teachers as Writers

Gillespie's article reminded me that we really can't expect our students to do something we aren't willing to do oursleves. We must write; we must let them see us write. They can't value wht they are doing if we don't appear to value it as well. I have learned so much just this week that will allow me to be a better writing teacher. I have rediscovered my own love of writing. I hope that love comes through to my kiddos.
